    Update : the only thing I found that may have contributed to the early demise was the 12mm nut was completely stripped out . Alternator was basically held on by the two 14mm .

    Thanks for the reminder ! I learned of this after the last time I replaced my alternator. Took my new reman back and picked up this sequoia alternator instead .

    I went with another reman because it was readily available. Hopefully lightning doesn’t strike twice as far as short lifespan goes . If so there has to be a contributing factor .

    Put it on a charge and all lights did indeed disappear . Looks like my remanufactured denso alternator lasted just over 1 year . Bummer

    Thank you for the reply . I’m hoping the Christmas tree dash is just a symptom of the low voltage . Heading back that way with a voltmeter and a battery charger now .

    I noticed my battery light had come on while in line to get coffee this morning . Immediately shut it down upon noticing . 5 minutes later she started up just fine with no warning light . Then about 2 miles down the road the whole dash lit up including battery . I was close to my moms house so...
