    FJ40 leaning slightly....suspension or shocks?

    My cruiser is leaning slightly to the drivers side...it's about 1 inch lower than the passenger side. Anyone know if it is more likely the springs or the shocks? Dumb question maybe...thanks.

    Hey guys. My 76 fj40 has really low compression so I think a rebuild is soon in order. I have come across a freshly rebuilt 79 engine for $1500 (with my core). Would I be better off buying that and dropping it in or rebuilding? I am mostly concerned about cost here. Thanks!

    Anyone rewire their own FJ40?

    I'm thinking about installing a new wiring harness myself to save labor. The kit (from JT Cruisers) is labeled clearly. Seems like it is just a tedious thing but doable to anyone with the time and patience...which is why I am thinking of doing it rather than paying a shop many hours of labor...

    I need a manifold for my 76 FJ40 which has an 8/76 build date. I've found manifolds for up to 8/76 and for 8/76 and up. So which do I need?? I assume they are different and I could potentially buy the wrong one. It's the stock 2F with 4spd. Any help is appreciated.
