All true. However this is a second vehicle and I don't have any money to put into it. It's going to suck not to have a Landcruiser any more(this is my 3rd). Due to my commute I no longer use a truck everyday, only for bad weather, towing, or firewood runs. Wound up picking up a 94 Explorer for...
Thanks for the responses guys. Truck has F&R lockers but haven't been able to get them to work, A/C has a leak, PS fluid leak, 183000 miles. Also I have the kit to rebuild the front axle but never got a chance to do it. Not an anniversary edition. Will throw up some pics after I get home today...

Wow, ok I had no idea Fram had such a bad rap. Was using them for 4 years on my old 94' with no apparent problems. Ok I'll pick up a NAPA or OEM. I assume there is still a size difference but I guess it's ok to use the larger filter. I really want to take care of this one, would like to get 10...
Went and bought a new Fram oil filter for my 97' and noticed it was about half the size of the filter for the 94'. Any reason for this? Could I still use the 94' size one? Probably doesn't matter, it just looks sooooo small.:D In my quick search didn't find anything that explains the size...
