We bought the Tuff Stuff Alpha....from what I can tell, basically the Ikamper for $2000 cheaper. The lifting is heavy, especially with a tall vehicle. The mounting is not difficult but takes patience if there isn't a lot of room between the tent and roof. We live in New England and take the...
Does anyone know if the Prinsu rack will bridge over the existing factory rack without removing it? I know.....just remove the damn thing but a few nutserts on my factory rack are spinning and Im hesitant to uncork that bottle.
I'm the original poster here and we ended up going with the 80 over the Eurovan. We now have a drawer system built in that, with the 2nd row folded flat, sleeps 2. We also have a RTT to sleep 2 up top. I don't think more than 4 would be all that practical unless you are towing a trailer as...
Thanks Arcteryx!! It was a horrendous smell when I turned it on 2 days after the chopping. We're off today for a long trip so we'll see how it holds up. I'll shoot you an email for pricing.

I agree. I paid $5800 a few years back for a fully locked rust free 97 with 195k. It had all the preventative maintenance completed and an ARB bumper. Maybe the prices have appreciated a lot over time but it isn't a can't pass up deal. Maybe there is room for sensible negotiation.
User error on my part. I switched the battery before taking it out of storage which must have changed the settings on the the up/down antenna buttons on the dash. I hit the button to push it all the way up and it is all fine now.
I store my rig for 4-5 months in a nice dry garage. After I get it out, I turn on the radio and my antenna goes maybe 1/3rd of the way up and stops. Last spring, after a few days, it just started going up the whole way on its own and was fine the rest of year. So far this year it doesn't go...
