I am ready right now for a set of seat belts for the back seat and sliders for sure and then very interested in a full roll cage and then maybe a rear swing bumper.
You can make it with a nut that is long/deep enough to get a good thread on the existing and to add the inch of the same thread/diameter bolt and then tighten a thin or regular nut on each side to keep it from vibrating loose.
I have the exact same issue...
coldtaco, so when you diverted the water at the top of the door as it came off the roof that stopped it for you? So more of a design issue than a leak... unless you count the door seals
I called 4 different places ranging from recommending a full replacement of the system to just adding to it... the cheapest swap with replacing the seals was $125 then $250 and up.
My AC does cool some and last summer it was freezing cold. I think I just need a boost but reading into it I guess to convert I have to recover what R12 is remaining and perform a series of activities so I can charge it w/134a... What is everyone else doi?
So I want to thank you for showing the clip so I knew what shape I was looking for. This fixed my problem as well! The only thing I would add is that I put a little grease on the end of the 24 socket to hold and guide the clip back into place. It feels really good to fix your own cruiser!
I think your rebuilt booster is not doing the trick... Do you have access to another 80 series to borrow just to see? I tried everything you have done even doubling up my reserves and it was still the darn booster. Once I swapped it my braking is awesome. My opinion is based off of my trial...
