Finding decent poles that long (that I would build a building around) is going to be tough. Usually I can get the cut off pieces but they are only 6-8ft long, of new poles that have been installed then 'trimmed' to fit. What about getting some rough cut beams and then coating the heck out of...
Its a variation on one of Frank's plans.

Took me years to finish it, and now I cant wait to loan it out!! :D
It does work very well, and it is VERY heavy, I built it for 20$ worth of drops out of the steel yard. Problem is I should have used 1/8in tube and not 1/4in...
I added up the amount of hrs I have spent DRIVING to go wheeling in the last 5 years VS the number of hours that are on my 3 month old outboard. Which was higher? Ill stick with the boat for now thanks :D Besides wally is scared of sand and salt water.
You couldn't be more wrong. I have (2) deck over trailers, 20ft and 25ft. I got rid of my standard 'between the fenders' type trailers. That trailer is on the lighter side, but perfect for a 40, or a mini truck, and parts, gear. Its great being able to walk around the truck ON the trailer while...
Bumping this up to the top again, tires and wheels are sold.
Throwing this out there to see if there is any interest. I have too much on my plate at the moment, and unfortunately I think its time to see it go.

How tight is the fit? I see you threw some beads down the side of it, that will help. Put a grease fitting on it somewhere, and weld up tube on the male end. If there is ANY slop what so ever it will click like a mudder! My first one worked great, second one was so noisy with the hubs locked in...

My latest update on the 'little floating project' Repaired all the areas around old rod holders, and beefed up areas that needed it. Body worked the top cap, and the inner hull liner, mocked up the flush mounted 316stainless steel pop up fixtures, (they pop up to clear fishing lines and rope)...

HA! that thing has had quite a life. It started life in a wagon of some sort, in CT (about 15+ years ago). Came to cape cod, sat in a barn for a long time, I traded a car stereo amp for it, and forgot I owned it for about 10 years. Then it needed to leave my barn and I gave it to you!
