I missed this as well. Funny I was at browns camp on Saturday with another group and would have met up with you!
EDIT: just realised Saturday was the 3rd, but still.....haha
Thank you for this write up on these rims. Just like you I was looking into the trd pros but came across a good deal on a rim/tire combo. Will be getting them today
The meetup on monday is not a cruiser meet. It's a meetup of ppl that are going to do some driving and sledding for kids...I just put the invite out there incase someone wanted to get out of town and have the day off for the holiday
Im meeting up with a new group, Overland car campers, Monday morning (MLK Day) at 10am in Estacada at the Get N Go . It's going to be family friendly kids day to go sledding and wheeling in the snow. We are suppose to head to Timothy lake then to Olallie and see how far we can get....
A lot of factors play into traction. Tire pressure, tread depth, momentum, gearing and type of snow just name a few. I've got the BFG KO2 33x10.5 and we were pushing through 12-14inches. Granted that was really powdery stuff....either way, getting a little sideways is part of the fun :D
I've gone out a couple times this week and it's been a blast. I'm interested if anyone wants to go during the week....I work weekends unfortunately.
This is at the top of Whale head peak just off of 224
You can always try removing the tint yourself to save some money. Super easy using the black trash bag method and 409 cleaner. I did it because the original tint had turned purple and it turned out great. I still haven't re tinted the windows yet.
Here's a video. It's part 1 of 2
Sounds good guys, thanks for the response. I just figured I would throw it out there! I would like to check out level beer.
I would love to go camping but I have family obligations Saturday night....
U-bolt flip kit is definitely something I'm considering in the future. Let me know what you...
I know it's short notice but Is anyone interested in a memorial day weekend meet up? I managed to get the weekend off from work :)
I will have a 2yo with me but I'm open to any place that will allow kids
Went out and broke some snow trail near Timothy lake in Oregon with my daughter. I ended braking the shear pin on the pto (need to source a new) but overall was a great day.
