The ABCs of AHC - How to Measure, Flush, and Adjust all in one place

finally got my rear height control sensor and slapped it in the truck. Set the adjustment bolt as close to center as I could eyeball and fired up tech stream. Here’s the numbers. I’ve cross leveled the front but looks like I will need to tighten down the TBars to get the front in spec but the...

The ABCs of AHC - How to Measure, Flush, and Adjust all in one place

Ok, well, I think I might have found the problem. The rear height sensor was broken off it's mount. Must have either rusted through or been hit by some road debris. Time to order a new one and cross my fingers. Any opinion on OEM vs Aisin? Also, no matter what brand I pick it's going to be a...

The ABCs of AHC - How to Measure, Flush, and Adjust all in one place

some differences in Height Control Sensor readings – not “near zero” but do not seem extreme – was the vehicle on a level surface at the time of the measurements? I am going to start trouble shooting this live today. I am measuring all this in my neighborhood street, it is level enough that...

    2020 Grom VLine Tech

Have you disconnected your phone from your factory handsfree calling? Not just in the phone but in the factory head unit as well? That solved all my issues with hands free calling and "hey Siri" commands.

    2020 Grom VLine Tech

Finally installed mine today. Followed most peoples lead and put it in the glove box. Ran the GPS up to the passenger side dash by the auto head lamp sensor (I think that's what that little red button is) and the Mic up the passenger side A-Pillar over to the mirror. I was initially having...

@geanes I was bummed for you (and the HIH community) when you initially posted that you couldn't get a slot, but super thrilled you got in. You've been incredibly generous with your knowledge of the area. And besides just sharing information, every year I've attended (and I'm sure years...

Metal-Tech 2019 GROUP BUY for Bumpers and Sliders!

Installed! I had mine powder coated evo grey to match the trim and bumpers. My install tip is to use some plastic spacers to set the gap between the body and slider. Keeps it consistent front to back and left to right. I had some left over from a pergo floor install. Foreman inspecting the job:
