Pulled from a 1970 fj40, we have what I believe to be close to stock height suspension availible.
Includes 4 leafs, 2 Newish front shocks, Newish steering stabilizer, 4 greasable shackles, 4 greasable pins, 3 u bolts, 4 ubilt plates, and misc nuts bolts and bushings.
Vehicle had good stance...
So, I can't speak to a 79 specifically, but I did not have to shorten my 1982 manual steering column to install a factory fj40 steering box.

I actually acquired a US 1982 FJ40 with manual steering from the factory - I sourced a US power steering box and bolted it right in without any modification of the bracket or coloumn.
