When my front diff let go, I removed the front shaft & flanges, locked the cdl and had duct tape covering the hubs. Drove for 6 months like that until I could get around to replacing the diff.
Any interest here for a non-running 80? Engine doesn't run, I think it may be timing chain related. It was making a pretty gnarly noise before it went. I did a compression test a couple months ago and a couple cylinders were low. It's been sitting since then and I'm ready to move on.

Me and Em went to Horse Pasture in the 80. We ran into some guys in a mint 80 40th AE at the entrance. The truck belonged to his dad and said he would have a stroke if he knew where he was with it.
