Nice price on the XD9000 shipped.
I'm thinking of adding the sc. My '94 has 130k miles on it. Is this a bad idea at this mileage? The engine runs pretty strong and has no leaks or overheating issues.
When I had my 60 I flipped the front driveshaft end for end. This puts the slip part of the driveshaft at the transfercase end. Only works though if you don't have a CV driveshaft. Other than that you could trim the crossmember and then reinforce it.
9/73 to 83 is the same, though the late model seats have a swing down leg that supports the seat better then the earlier short style seats. Also the color isn't a match. Early short seats are silver frames with black vinyl, late model short seats are all grey.
If you drive it a lot I'd recommend a centered output transfer case. Center output t/c doesn't turn the transfer case gears all the time like the offset cases in the cruisers so they are quieter and incurr less wear. Also you can find a gm case that will bolt up to your th350. Any cruiser case...
I know Advance sells a T18 to 4spd transfer case adapter. You could run a Ford bellhousing and T18 and then get the AA adapter. Bad news is that it's like $600 for the adapter.
