I have a '94, but I think a '93-'97 will work. I think the "95+ have the small courtesy light in the bottom, but I'd just replace the bottom pocket with the '94 one.
I put in a Dobinsons 1.5" kit on my 2002 LX with 140K miles- stock except Prinsu rack and Roofnest RTT - rides better than with the AHC. Just the right level of firmness...so smooth.
Privateer - please let me know the outcome of this. My situation is similar on my '02 LX
1. Doors will lock and unlock with the key fob - no sticking of locks in any temps
2. Doors will unlock with both the driver and passenger door switches
3. Doors will NOT lock by depressing lock...
Out of curiosity, does the re-flash of the ECU also reset the remote FOBs? I have an odd situation in my 2002 LX470. At some point the PO needed to replace the ignition cylinder and the Toyota dealer did so, but instead of having the ignition cylinder keyed to match the original key code, they...
@TexasTom - I am still chasing an intermittent Code 25. So far I've removed the PAIR assembly and replaced the O2 sensors with OEM ones (They are NLA, but I found a set). In addition, I relocated the O2 sensors to the exhaust manifolds for easier access. I still get the random CEL code 25...
Cleared the CEL last night - drove 140 miles today (mostly highway) and no CEL. Probably 10 miles city and 130 miles on highway at 75 mph - this one is vexing. Any other thoughts appreciated.
I checked the harnesses that plug into the O2 sensors - all the wiring appeared in good shape. Would a harness issue caused the CEL to trip immediately, or seemingly randomly as it does now? I regularly pull the EFI fuse to clear the code, perhaps I need to start documenting the conditions...
Seeking advice - I've searched and read through all the of related threads and most CEL code 25 issues seem to have been resolved by replacing O2 sensors.
After having my headgasket done, including full cleaning of intake and injectors along with new plugs, replacing all vacuum lines, new air...
Tom,
There is a shop in SC that offers a repair service - I bought a refurbished MAF for my '94 from him last year and it works great. Might want to see if he has any in stock, or what the turnaround time might be for a repair...
Happy to snap a few pics and post them later.
Here is a link to the mount: Quarter Panel Mount, 80 Series- right - https://absolute-wits-end.com/quarter-panel-mount-80-series-right/
FWIW - I mounted a Kicker 10" Hideaway powered sub on a Wits End quarter panel mount in the stock location - it sounds really nice. I've got the kicker speakers in the door panels too. Overall sounds great considering it is a 27 year old rig. I also added sound deadening on all panels, doors...
I am located in Raleigh, NC but will travel and/or ship for the right truck. My plan is to do a light restoration on whatever I buy, so paint condition and condition of seats isn't a top priority. That said, I am not interested in a rust bucket or something that is going to need heavy body...
As a side note for those seeking steering wheel or shifter recovering - I sent my '94 steering wheel and shifter to Dallas Custom Steering Wheel and they turned out amazing. Turnaround was 5 days. He added a little extra padding to the steering wheel to give it a bit more heft. Results were...
I was just up there at the shop and can attest to the fact that LCH is starting to stock a few cover sets - I think I saw a couple sets of 40th two-tone. Regardless, the production issues seem to be resolved and the quality is very good. My personal experience was very good - can't talk about...
