Guys,
I have been on Mud for awhile and have never posted about a vendor, period.
Kurt, you guys went above and beyond today! I bought a box of tie rod ends last year (almost exactly 12 months ago) and finally got around to installing them on my FJ55 last night (1971 LHD rig). Rod ends...

Gents,
My right rear axle shaft appears to be bent from the previous owner (will verify amount of deflection with dial indicator). I have 2 questions for my 1971 FJ55:
1. Are the rear axle shafts interchangeable (right/left)?
2. Would a 1971 FJ55 be compatible with earlier or later FJ55's, say...

Gents,
I'm working on a 1970 with the original F engine. My gear is back from the machine shop. I have the engine torn down and I'm working to install the crank, photos below. After reading several threads it seems a minor amount of RTV is used on the rear cap to prevent oil leakage (threads...
If anyone out there is or has completed a conversion from a 3 speed and has a donor trans I sure would appreciate it. I want to keep my truck stock, 3 on the tree.
I'm in Atlanta, GA.
Thanks,

Fellow Mudders,
I purchased a 1970 FJ (VIN FJ4085625) 3 speed and am working on rebuilding the original 1F engine. The block is currently at my machine shop, otherwise I would provide the number on the block.
Can someone provide guidance on the main bearing cap orientation for caps 2 & 3...
