Update...the 315-60-20 did not fit. They rub the upper control arm. I was going to get new wheels, but I am thinking of going with a AT tire instead this time. The 35's I was running have been discontinued and the new replacement is hard to find. That is why I went with a 315. A 295x65x20 is...
I added the bumper because I like ARB products and the look. Not too many like it out there so it makes it unique. I am updating the tires again to a 315x60x20 which is 35.1 tall verses the 35x12.50.20 which is 34.9. I hope they will clear the control arms like the 35's, but if not than I will...
Call Mike at Dobisons. The lift is about 2 inches and the tires are 35x12.50x20 with no spacers. I do get a little rub on the upper control arm when turning at full wheel lock. Normal turning and driving no rub at all. The ride is great and handlea well on and off road. This isn't a Rock...
Tire pressure is fine, running 40lbs and alignment is also good. It was worse on the factory size tires and the 35's helped it a little because more rubber contact surface to turn. I have driven a couple others now and they all seem very sensitive. I guess they did it for the Soccer Moms.
I have an 2008 Sequoia and the steering seems very touchy. Its great in the parking lot and at under 20mph, but but seems very sensitive at highway speeds. Has anyone else had that issue? I can't find anything wrong with the ball joints, steering rack, Pump etc....Suggestions?
Looks Awesome. I am looking at the Sahara Bar from ARB for mine, but Technical says it won't fit a Sequoia. I am waiting for more information from them why it won't fit. By the way, I just installed the Dobinson Suspension on mine and love the ride.
I have looked everywhere for a full suspension and the only one I found was from Dobisons. Just installed it and some 35's and couldn't be happier. Here is a picture of it....
What a great event and being new to the area you all made us feel very welcome. Thanks to everyone that help get my old 4Runner Dickey Bell and enduring my night snoring....I know this event was in honor of Logan and I only wish I could have met him. Meeting Kenny and Lydia and spending time on...
I know dealer ads are not allowed but this vehicle is kind of "Special" and the Dealer that has it listed is selling it for the current owner. I just wanted to let everyone know it is for sale and and it can be seen on Ebay...Iam not emloyed by any dealer so this is just an informationa post. If...
No, they played at the TTR event last weekend. TTORA is not part of the Lone Star Jamboree.
But the band is great and a must see.....glad to see they will be at RoundUp again.
Some know me on the board but I thought I would give you my opinion. I am the Parts Director at Toyota of Dallas and www.TRDParts4U.com. We market ARB/OME products along with several other aftermarket suppliers.
The Second Generation 4Runner has always had the Saggy Butt issue. I have had 2 and...
Jon,
I am sorry to see you have to sell your toys but I do understand your priority. If times were better I would consider buying the Old 4Runner back.
Someone is going to get a nice ride. The 40 looks great too and I wouldn't mind having it either.
Hope you get them sold to a good home.
