Wanted Wanted: Built Land Cruiser Overlander

Message me. I have one to look at. 80 Series, 40th anniversary. 3x locked. It has spent it's life in LA and hasn't been off road. I've spent a lot of money up keeping it over the years and I am the original owner. I have most service receipts / records.

DIY new windshield or have it installed by a pro?

I had a local guy do it who works out of a car wash. Great dude and did a great job. It was right around $200 with new gasket. I've also been through a lot of rain and haven't had a single leak. It has been about 2 years.

    Water Leak

I did just install a roof rack and the shop did put silicone to fill the holes of the factory rack. Can this have caused an issue?

    Water Leak

I'll check all those things. It did seem like most water was in front passenger foot well.

No idea. I'll have to check. Didn't know that could cause that.

    Water Leak

Hey everyone, I have a weird one. I recently went camping and noticed when I started taking stuff out of the car that the entire passenger side of the car's carpet under the floor mats were wet. The floor mats were not, just the carpet underneath. Not sure exactly how water and that much got...

Any experience with Fox 2.0 Performance Series IFP shocks?

Seems like it really depends on the batch. I've also heard that many other people were having issues with the 2-2.5 inch shocks prematurely failing, so it might be an issue with this particular model. I agree YMMV, but there are many options out there that this isn't an issue.

Any experience with Fox 2.0 Performance Series IFP shocks?

I have the Fox shocks for my cruiser. I lifted it 2.5 inches, and I'm very unhappy with my Fox shocks. I actually just ordered replacements. I have less than 30K miles on them and the rear ones are completely blown. You can hear that just my springs are doing all the work in the back. They were...

That's my crusier, and if anyone is interested, here is the link to the light bar. I plugged it in before I gave it to John to mount and it was bright. I'll have to get some pics once I get the truck back. Light Bar Link <--

New vendor "Bowfin Cruisers" and new 80 series roof rack option

I just assembled my rack and installed it today. I’ll take some pictures tomorrow, but the rack is nothing short of amazing! The attention to detail, the quality and the way everything was packed is just above and beyond. The rack is so sturdy I feel like I could put a Prius on it. I drove...

Next Step - On board water

I have one of these: Frame Mount It doesn't heat water, and I don't think it would put out enough pressure to run to a heat source without a pump, but it self pressurizes when you fill it, and it holds 3.3 gallons of water. It went up in price since I bought it, but I've used it quite a bit...

Moving to California - Emissions Advice

In California, there is special registration for cars from other states if you are moving here. You would have to probably contact the DMV or maybe someone knows more, but you can apply for 49-state emissions as long as you can show the car was registered in your previous state...

    FOUND - Stolen LX-450 - Calgary

I have the viper system with 2 way remote which also allows me to remotely start the car. It's a great system and comes with a well known blue flashing light to let people know it's armed. On top of that, I have the viper gps module which connects to Verizon's cell towers and allows me to...
