I will be completing a 79 BJ40 & am looking for styles of pulley removal systems for topless operations. Constructed with removals in mind. Safety tip or suggestions are as always, greatly appreciated.

Why the double groove water pump pulley? Every answer in this thread doesn't mention your double groove water pump pulley. All answers state stay with original design and add a double groove crank pulley with 1 dedicated drive belt for the A/C compressor. Just wondering what your theory is.

My alternator is mounted directly above the compressor for my after market a/c system. Can I just drop a belt directly down to drive the compressor? Belt tensioner needed?

Can you please send me a link to where I can purchase the 7808 and any other materials need to make the conversion. All the other gauges (oil pressure, fuel, and temperature) run directly off the 12V power directly.
