So I a little perplexed.
‘78 FJ40
I replaced the fuel tank, all lines, fuel filter.
Put a new inline electric pump to help with the orig factory fuel pump
Prior to me replacing the tank, lines etc she was running fine
Now after all the new equipment…she bogs down going about 40...

I’ve searched and the results are overwhelming and all over the place with opinions and suggestions. What I need help with is a straight forward list of parts I need to convert a 1978 FJ40 (uS-LHD) that has a 1975 2F in it to POwer Steering using FJ60 parts.

Stock carb..so some minor Frankenstein work on my pig between 75 & 78 hardware.

But, the distributor the PO put on is different from the OEM. I have no idea what brans of distributor is on it currently.
Is there a way to identify the distributor brand so I can get the correct parts?

This is a KAYMAR Rear Tire Carrier that fits/uses existing mounting brackets on the OEM Bumper. It holds some big tires. I had a BFG AT 295 on it for an entire winter.

I rebuild my front calipars today and installed new rotors and pads.
Good News..it stops!
But, even though i bled the brakes 2 times..they still feel mushy. I only bled the front ones and I did not touch the rear ones at all. Thoughts? Should I drive around then bleed again...
