Looking at that, it looks like I'm not aired down at all! Actually, I was running 12 PSI. I think the vehicle's weight must be on the slider in this pic, because the rear tire looks like it's barely touching the ground, and the opposite rear tire is probably 3 feet in the air.
Well, after I came down that, without a spotter (that's the worst line I have EVER taken down the Devil's Crack), I spotted a few 40's, a few 4Runners, an 80 and an FJ Cruiser down that spot without a problem. The secret is staying about a foot and a half to the driver's side of my line.
Oh, that bumper is all 3/16 steel. A stinger would have snagged - I stood it straight up and down, right on the edge of a flop...then drove out of it, without touching rock with the front bumper.
The rig that will NEVER be in Toyota Trails.
Somehow, Kurt Gensheimer caught it on Moab Rim.
Question: What do you do, when your trail leader flops, and goes over the cliff? Fortunately, we didn't have to answer that one!
I am bringing Mrs. Bobzooki this year. I told her our site has electric, and that I'm bringing the leaf-blower for the cottonwood "snow". She said she's bringing the BLENDER. She's much brighter than I am.
Is that stuff somewhere above Crown Royal Special Reserve, or between regular Crown, and the Reserve?
Well, bring it, and we can judge for ourselves!
So, you guys stay INDOORS every night???
I thought you'd just snuggle up in a snow bank with your legendary pet beaver, and tough it out!
I've GOT to do this some time soon!
I will be leading Moab Rim on Thursday, again this year. I am amazed to see these massive Yota's making this run! Well, a 40 looks big to the Gnewt, but the 80's... Truly impressive!
And Cruise Moab is the Only way to go! I used to do EJS with Zukes from all over the US (they have Zukfari...
Hey Kevin!!!
Next year, you can run Gold Bar Rim in the Gnewt!
She LOVES Gold Bar Rim!
I'm just really happy that Jeremiah Proffitt didn't have to kick my a$$ for giving my tiny little IFS rig the same name (essentially) as his green monster! :grinpimp:
I'll be there Saturday afternoon, from Denver.
Staying at Slick Rock.
Sunday, I'll probably run Hells Revenge.
Monday, maybe Poison Spider/Gold Bar Rim
Tuesday, pre-run Moab Rim (I've only run it once).
Wednesday, working registration.
I'm leading Moab Rim on Thursday
Not sure about...
