I bought these rear door speakers in April 2019.
Yeah, I know. Look up "procrastination" in any dictionary, my name will show up.
I was gonna have it installed because... yeah lazy.
Then 2020 hit us hard. Everything closed. Oh no, more reasons to put it off.
A week ago I got this soldering kit...
This is not the recall notice we all know about.
It is about the replacement jacks, the new ones.
One reported failure.
Replacement Harbor Freight jack stand reportedly fails on first use
I am trying to figure out the difference in the shifting pattern between the two transmissions when looking at engine braking.
Does the A440F shifter have a O/D button?
Is "D" considered the O/D, if there is no button for it? (I can't see it in the pictures I looked at)
4th---D
3rd---3
2nd---2...
I am looking for a bench vise, but sure if this old one is worth the price. The 746 (made in China) model costs the same brand new and it has a 6" jaw vs 4" for the old one (made in USA).
Here's the old one for sale
And the new one is advertised on their site, of course.

Lots of people lately had some issues with either the lug nuts or other studs on their suspension.
Torque wrenches are not all accurate and most of us don't go through the trouble to calibrate them as often as we should.
Got my famous HF torque wrench a few year back and never had any idea how...
Seriously, all I did was to get the 35"s on and take the 33"s out.
In the process, I pull the e-brake while jacking up the car and replacing each tire.
Torqued the nuts, but... there was a "funny feeling" about a couple of nuts on the DS. All the others would stop spinning, 2 of them (as I went...
As the title says, not a permanent platform, one person setup, no nuts and bolts needed.

Just finished up my mods and I am really excited about it.
This is a Masterflow, Superflow, Q-Industries, Tsunami, MV-50, MF-1050, MF-1052 type of compressor.
I got it more than 10 years ago, used a bunch of times throughout the years, but I was never satisfied with the performance and more...
I just found out today from a friend that I need an off road registration or permit when going off road.
He is a CA resident, but his car is registered in Nevada.
I can't find anything supporting his claim. It seems this registration is for non CA residents, but he keeps on saying it is for...
I found this very small sized radio which is not offered in US, but can be bought online. It looks like it would be a better fit inside the ash tray location, being way smaller than the Uniden 510.
This one comes in at 4" x 4" x 1". Not a lot of bells and whistles, but not terribly expensive...
I got Joey's syndrome reading too many of his posts and now I cannot live with the DS switch settings being reverse. Hi for Lo and the other way around of course.
My driver's side switch seems to work in reverse. The Lo and Hi are doing the opposite of what they are supposed to do.
For some...
I got an issue with my TLC 80 series. I searched the forum for my problem but I only found problems regarding no hot air coming in.
The heater valve will not close all the way, so no hot air would enter the cabin. I think this is the issue anyway.
The temperature control slider does nothing...

I've been thinking about this issue for some time and can't get an answer by myself as what I need to do with my car.
As it currently is, my 80 sits on a OME stock height heavy springs. I guess there is a little lift actually over stock setup, probably less than 1". 285/75-16 tires and I don't...
