Builds building a landcruiser for overland expedition

The intercooler isn't nearly as important as your air to fuel ratio and tune. I don't know if it's different for diesels, but for gas you lean out under boost and your motors toast. If you do raise the boost or tweak how much air is going in there you have to account for it. Most of the time...

Builds building a landcruiser for overland expedition

57 trim is the biggest you should go. That's good in the 7m Supras for over 400whp with all the other mods so I'm sure it would be big enough here. There are some guys that go 60-1 but they break or have problems a lot faster. Plus, after about 14psi it blows really hot air and just messes...

The build up and progress of my Piggie!

Nice truck Nat. Only thing I would highly, highly recommend you do is get that crank pulley off there. Taking off the vibration damper for just a lightened pulley will get more power to the wheels, but your way more likely to get crank walk or some type of crank issue. Especially if your...

    1984 Supra P-type - $500 and RUNS !

Plain and simple, I have to leave for school this Thursday and don't have time for it. She runs, most everything works in it (lights went up and down until yesterday, not sure why they stopped) Car runs and drives great, needs something adjusted though because it runs rich once it gets warmed...

    1mz-fe (V6 camry, avalon, solora)

Selling 3 coils and a wire set from a '99 Avalon. has the 1mz-fe v6, same as the camry/solara. They are used, have about 130k on them. They are oem toyota. Thought they were the problem for a misfire but it turned out to be a short in the harness, so these are fine but I dont want to deal...

    Going turbo this summer..

Yeah.. stay away from Twin scrolling...its pretty much useless in most cases and just gives better sound. Creates turbulence in the turbo, have to run two wastegates, which *should* dump into the downpipe, now you have turbulence in the downpipe too.. plus making the exhaust manifold would suck...

Anyone ever shortened the front of a 40?

bustanutley, that's exactly what I was looking for. Those are awesome! Yeah I know PS would be an issue, triangulating the linked suspension wouldnt be fun, making the t-case compatible, and all that stuff would be a pain, But dang, those 40s look really good. Id totally do a project like...

Anyone ever shortened the front of a 40?

I just don't like the look so much of the bumper, it sticks out bad in the front. Sometimes looks good though. Don't own a 40 but have seen some really nice lookin ones on a few threads here, just wondering if it's possible or has ever been attempted. I haven't seen any yet that have front...

Anyone ever shortened the front of a 40?

Just wondering, has anyone ever cut the frame back behind the front of a 40? I know it's that far out because of the springs but couldnt you do some kind of custom coilover setup? Wondering if this is possible because I'm not a huge fan of the huge friekin setup past the front of it. Plus...

Best place to install a lift in Vegas on a 2wd Tacoma?

My friend's dad has a 2005 Tacoma 2wd crew cab. He just got 30's put on it with the stock height, but when he turns it scrapes the wheel wells. I was wondering where in Las Vegas he can go to buy and install a 3 inch lift. It doesnt matter which kind because it's just for looks (ya hes gonna...
