Anatomy of P0456 - Small Evap Leak

I'm lucky in that the dealership I see regularly seems to be more "mod-friendly" than most so I have some confidence that they might find a way to honor the warranty, but we'll see. I'll attempt the WD40 idea, hadn't thought of that

Anatomy of P0456 - Small Evap Leak

Much appreciated @TeCKis300 - Assuming I'm not doing any real harm to the engine I might just punt this until the light becomes more constant and then do the high loop at the same time. Just disappointed this is happening in a practically new Cruiser! Also, I'm assuming none of this is covered...

Anatomy of P0456 - Small Evap Leak

Bumping this again, any ideas on why colder temps might cause P0456 more frequently than warmer temps? I'm at almost a month of being CEL-free and I think it has to be due to it being warmer now.

    Greater Boston area owners thread

To answer @LXzibit - Coach and Carriage in Watertown fixed a sloppy Safelite install on my '06 and did a great job. Have used them for other minor touch ups as well, great work overall. Echoing what @CT3 said, had my Cruiser coated with Woolwax by AC Auto and have been happy (admittedly only...

Anatomy of P0456 - Small Evap Leak

Bringing this back as I'm just starting to experience the P0456 code (no others codes thrown). The facts: 2021 LC Ed Martin built, pavement princess for the most part 45k miles (second owner) LRA small (12.5 gal) aux tank Recently undercoated (relevant?) P0456 comes up about a month ago, I...

ARB dual compressor/rear airbag question, Ed Martin built

Not technically "on" all the time while engine is on, but running periodically for short bursts to (possibly) top off a line that's low on pressure. I was under the assumption that when the switch was off, there was no power whatsoever to the compressor but it appears that's not the case here...

ARB dual compressor/rear airbag question, Ed Martin built

@lx200inAR and @prharper - to answer both your questions, it would appear that all of this is happening despite the push-button switch on the dash being off AND the control for the pressure in the bags being off, so it seems the compressor operates entirely on it's own if there is demand for...

ARB dual compressor/rear airbag question, Ed Martin built

Hi all, I did a bit of searching but couldn't find much. I have a new-to-me, Ed Martin built 2021, and I've got the ARB compressor hooked up to a set of rear bags and a quick release chuck under the hood. Recently, despite the switch being in the "off" position, the compressor kicks on for...

SOLD (PRICE REDUCED) Boston area: 100 series TrekBoxx Bravo-ish system (some additions), great shape

Good question, what's your zip? I got quotes to CO ranging from 500-900 so I imagine it won't be cheap out to CA.

SOLD  (PRICE REDUCED) Boston area: 100 series TrekBoxx Bravo-ish system (some additions), great shape

Hi all, I don’t think I need to explain the merits of a TrekBoxx system to everyone here so I won’t! It’s a lightly used system (purchased summer 2019) that David and I planned out (ok really David had done something similar for his own truck and that sounded good to me). It’s effectively a...

    Bronze Wheels on Gray 200

Bringing this back as I just purchased a '21 in grey that I'd really like to add some bronze to. @Sampson0104: looks like you started with Brass Monkey to make sure you were happy with the color, did it really come out as dark as in your picture on page 1 here? Seems much lighter on their...

For Sale Most recent 200 Series purchase prices

Private sale and the guy couldn't have been any nicer! Only reason he was selling was that he was relocating and didn't see the Cruiser getting the kind of use he wanted when he moved.
