    i think I found it after more digging on mud Toyota 11213-61010 Gasket, Cylinder Head Cover says it is for a 1975-1980.

    1977 with 10/76 build date: Sitting @ dealership getting wife's 21 4runner serviced and had them look up and see if they could get me an OEM valve cover gasket. YEP, be here in 2 days.     followed @Poser thread for replacing main seal by removing the #4 bearing cap. Getting ready to re-install. FSM says torque to (76-94 ft-Ib). Does not say anything anything about thread locker? Do I use thread locker on these bolts or just put them in and torque to specs? Any help is...

    who rebuilds carbs?

    FJ40Jim, rebuilt mine. Took around 12 weeks and just like tls3601 says, hard to get ahold of, but damn does it run nice now. Temp was around 2 degrees this morning, pulled choke out and popped right off. NO touching anything. purrs like a kitty. Jim C. all the way.
