I'm bumping this thread because I have been chasing a rattle from my passenger front tire area. It would sound like a marble in a soup can going over small bumps. It was driving me nuts. I discovered the caliper was missing the anti rattle clip. I didn't think it was the clip so I keep looking...
I'm gonna disagree. I get 17mpg and mine will move out if you want to. It gets great mileage for what it is. My old 2010 Tacoma 2 wheel drive v6 got 19 at best. Figure that one.
So I have had some sounds coming from the suspension at slower speeds when going over small bumps ect. After reading about the hub caps I pulled them off and thought for sure that was it. Nope. So it just went away the other day after o was loaded down with my dirtbike and gear. Then it got me...
Now that I think about it I had the same problem on my FJ60 I sold to get a 100. I'll just measure the cushion and compare it to other toyota cushions. Tacoma tailgate cushions might work. I'll find one somewhere that matches
im having a hell of a time looking for a part. 2000 LC
On the rear tailgate there is a rubber cushion on the latch. Little cylindrical shaped rubber cushion. I can't find the flipping part number anywhere. Little mud help would be appreciated. Aloha
I paid 9 with shipping from Bay Area to Hawaii last year. 2000 LC 180k service records since new. Every oil change and all. WP/TB done early 90k,147k. Few dings here and there. Interior great condition, not one speck of rust anywhere. Not even on the tow mount. Needed tires.
Best 9 grand I have...
I'd hit it!! Lol who cares if it's dented up. People care too much how their trucks look. It's a killer deal and mechanically in good condition. I would buy it, put a new windshield and corner light maybe a new front left quarter and drive the piss out if it.
The seal isn't sold seperately from the housing. And the replacement OEM light is 250.00
From my understanding the plug for the light is behind the interior trim.
I would buy the LC!! 6k is cheap if it's in good condition. spend a few thousand and baseline it. Drive the wheels off of it. At 245k is kinda high however these were built to go 500k. So look at it this way for 6k you get a land cruiser that's still got many many many years left in her
180k with the last 90k service done at 150k miles. Interior is in good shape for its age. No ripped seats or anything. Couple kid stains. It has a few good dents but dents give it character and drop the price dramatically. I wanted a meticulously maintained rig. Dents are superficial
You gotta...
