In 2018 I traded in my 2008 LC for a new F250. I currently drive a 2013 LX. Will not be making that mistake again.
Recently I pulled the Carfax on my 08 to see what happened to it after I traded it. It went to auction then exported out of Baltimore to Ghana.
When I had my 2008 LC I used it all the time. I now have a 2013 LX and I never use it. Seems like the LX has a more aggressive throttle mapping than the LC.
I keep my 100 series plugged in to a battery tender with the little harness run through the grill. I only drive it a couple times a month and have not had any problems
My 13 LX does this occasionally. I have found that cleaning the MAF does help. But the best thing I found is to give it several very brisk accelerations.
I don’t claim to know how or why this works, but for me, it does.
Another member of team lockjaw. I have a 2013 LX that has 90k and the AHC line was replaced by the previous owner. I have owned it a year now, put 15k miles on it and sprayed an entire case of Fluid Film on the underside.
