For 30 years I've been applying anti-seize to hubs to prevent aluminum wheels from binding and have never experienced anti-seize migrating during the vehicle's operation.
You DO NOT want to put anti-seize on your studs or lug nuts. A light coat of anti-seize only for your hubs on the truck where the open center part of the wheel mates. Nothing fancy for the anti-seize, just the standard grey anti-seize (aka nickel version) available at any auto parts store will...
Very common. Aluminum when it oxidizes grows slightly dimensionally. After cleaning the crud off, put a very, very light coat of anti-seize around the steel hubs on the truck before remounting the wheels. You'll never experience this problem again. Be careful to not get anti-seize on the studs...
Welcome!
The front seats are only ventilated. The seat fan pulls cabin air up from a floor vent under the seat when on the cool or heat setting. When on heat, the heating element in the seat warms up also. IIRC there is a post where a deflector on the floor vent was added to direct air up...
With my '15 LX, I'm using a 128GB usb jump drive without any issues. 320kbps encoded MP3s sound great (better than xm-sirius ;)). I've organized the folders by artist and then their sub folder by album. The system is able to successfully categorize the artist and albums for listening. The only...
Unfortunately you can only stream the audio portion of the video via Bluetooth. For example I've streamed YouTube videos from my iPhone to the LX so that all of the passengers could hear the video. IIRC the audio controls will "control" the video play (ie play, FF, etc.) when connected. By...
This might not be isolated to 2016's as our 2015 LX does this on the 2nd row passenger side also. We've found if you turn your head toward the center it improves it somewhat. We've tried multiple headsets and they all experience the same thing in this seating position.
I have not given it too...
The release is thru the D handle, simply pull up on it about 1" and twist CCW to open the valve. You can easily control the decent rate of the load anywhere from very slow to fast by varying the amount of 'twist' of the handle. It can easily be done one handed.
I have had the jacks for several...
Look at the AC Hydraulic DK20HLQ. Lifts 4400 pounds to 31.5". Link: Pelican Parts.com - High Profile Hydraulic Floor Jack
I have two of these and they are by far the best jacks that I've ever owned; relatively low profile, long reach, high lift and fully serviceable components. They lift my...
