    Discussion: gas tank pressure build-up, lower MPG?

    just curious, and i'm trying to save fuel. i've never had the gas cap pressure thing, but, Just say your gas tank releases pressure while opening the cap. what if this build-up is forcing fuel; could it be impacting the fuel pump, pressure, and fuel consumption, no? opinions? discussions...
