Can't seem to find a part anywhere online

I'm looking for the wiring harness for my hitch. The part number is 82824-34030, but aside from an old hit on eBay, I can't seem to find it. Any ideas? Here's a picture.

Need options for hitch wiring - Mine got removed by a rock

So i was out exploring a forest road by my in-laws cabin that i've done a few dozen times before. This time was particularly muddy due to recent rains and there were a nice coating of leaves obscuring obstacles. In any regard, at some point I clipped my hitch wiring plug right off the hitch. the...

Need ideas on where to look for a slow coolant leak

I have about 193k on my 2004 LC and am experiencing a slow leak. I checked my over flow the other day and saw it was dry. I then noticed i couldn't see the coolant level in the radiator. I topped it off and everything seems fine, but i'm obviously losing it somewhere. I previously replaced the...

    Duratrac 285/75R18 for 100 series

Is anyone running these on a 100 series? The nominal height is 35", but it looks like it works out to 34" in real life. My Grabber AT2s have 60k on them, so I'll need to start thinking about replacements. Also does anyone know if they will fit in the stock spare location?

Hitch Questions - Do we have a Class III or IV?

I always assumed I had a class III on my 2004 Land Cruiser, but I was going through the manual and noticed it said you could have a tongue weight up to 650 lbs on a weight carrying hitch or 975 lbs on a weight distributing hitch, both of which put it firmly in class iV territory. (page 242 of...

Well it happened to me, steering rack went

Started to notice some little oil drops on my garage floor, but didn't think much of it. Then I found a small puddle and decided to investigate. Lo and behold, the passenger side of the steering rack was covered in gunk and dripping. I guess after 160k its not completely unexpected. I had the...

    Odd issue after replacing battery

After starting slow for a few days, my battery finally died this morning. So after doing a morning full of research, I headed off to the local BatteriesPlus to get a new battery, this one in particular: SLI27FM - Duracell Ultra Gold Battery for 2004 Toyota Land Cruiser V8 4.7L 710CCA Car and...

Need help identifying a trim piece

Unfortunately I do not have a picture, but here we go... I am looking for the part number of the trim piece that goes on the front of the rear windows and covers the hinge. The pieces on both side of my truck are cracked, but I can't seem to find them on the schematics. Any idea?

    Tire size with a twist

I currently have 275/70R18 General Grabber AT2 on my truck. When these wear out, I would like to increase that to either 295/65 or preferably 295/70. Not sure of the brand, but I like the Cooper STT Pros at the moment. There are a million threads talking about what sizes will fit on the...

Improving ride to keep SO happy

Alright I have a 2004 LC100 with 140k on the factory springs. Last summer I swapped the shocks for Fox 2.0s and put in 30mm spacers. While I don't have a problem with the ride, the other adult who lives in my house is not a fan. Normally I wouldn't care, but we usually use my truck for long...

Has anyone upgraded to 4.30 gears on a 2003+?

I was driving home yesterday and started debating upgrades for my truck (very typical pastime), and was debating the benefit of upgrading the gears. Most cases I read about here people increasing the gear ration on 98-2002 4 speed cruisers after going to larger tires. The norm seems to be...

    Alternative to techstream

Are there any alternatives to the techstream software that works on our vehicles? I have a code reader, but I was hoping to get something more robust to actually make changes (seat belt alarm, program keys, etc.). Are there any alternatives to the techstream software that work? Harbor Freight...

Right blinker flashes faster than left

A few weeks ago my right turn signal blinker started flashing at a much faster pace than my left. However, none of my bulbs are burned out and I'm still using regular bulbs instead of LED. Is this a sign the relay is going? Frankly its annoying.

    Anyone need 4 spare tires?

I came across this on facebook. It looks ridiculous to me, but what do I know? I have to imagine that much weight behind the rear axle would mess with handling pretty good...

What sizes of Pioneer rack can I use?

I am looking at the Rhino Rack pioneer for my truck. I don't really have a need for a full rack, and have been looking at the 60"x54" rack on Amazon. Is there any reason why I can't use this rack? The width is correct, and I can still get the RLCP feet for it (albeit I will have two extra)...

    Gas tank skid

I was crawling under my truck on Saturday, and noticed the back third of my gas tank skid is damn near rusted away. It appears its a separate part #77606-60120 and the cost isn't bad. I presume I would need to drop the tank to replace this, correct? Has anyone done this before? I searched but...

Spare tire lift and what I learned.

So I had a nice afternoon and some free time to work on the truck last Saturday. I decided I was going to raise the spare tire and relocate my trailer connector, as it always seems to get packed with mud when I go out. I decided to start with lifting the spare tire. I followed the guide...

Good Off-Road or Toyota shop in the Milwaukee area?

I might need a shop to set up some gears for me. Does anyone know of a good shop in the Milwaukee area or at least someone who can set up an axle? Thanks

    Elocker in a 2003+

I have done a thousand searches and read every post. I realize most people recommend not to do it, and go with ARB. However, seeing as an ARB with compressor is at least $1,000, and I can buy a whole axle with the diff lock off of car-part.com for as low as $400, the issues would need to be...

    Help me identify a vehicle

So I was golfing with my inlaws and I saw what looked to be a first gen tundra, regular cab, with a short bed. I was struck at how compact the whole thing was, and that it would make a great hunting truck. However, I can't seem to find anything online like what I saw. It would make a great...
