Title pretty much says it all.
I plan on going to GSMTR this year. Last year it fell right on our anniversary, so I had to skip attending. I'd like to get a group going for a cabin so I can stay most of the week.
Who's going? Who's interested?

GSMTR is coming up in June and I'm curious to see who's planning what for the GSMTR and accommodations at Windrock?
@GLTHFJ60 is bringing his Ritz on wheels. I know the Upstate crew is getting their usual cabin, which will be packed full. I've heard @AJR is grabbing a smaller cabin this year...
Hey Everyone.
I'm going to be doing a vehicle photoshoot in October and I need some recommendations. I'm sort of hitting a wall with trying to find locations to photograph the vehicle in question. I could use some advice from people that live around the Chapel Hill/Durham area and are familiar...
I’ve seen a few posts on here about the P0125 code, but only a few have touched on what I’ve experienced with this troublesome code. Hopefully this post will serve as a reference for anyone trying to track down the root of this problem. What follows is my account of how my truck (’97 LX450)...
The title is pretty self-explanatory. My truck is a '97, as far as I know the '96 engine control module is the same as the '97.
I've been trying to troubleshoot a persistent problem with my truck. I've narrowed it down to two things, one of those things is potentially a bad ECM... Or part of it...
Many moons ago @JohnVee and I had planned on collaborating on an article, for Toyota Trails, about the club trip we took to Portsmouth Island back in 2017. As with all things, life happened and said article ended up taking a back seat to…well, life. Recently the topic of having the story...
I don't know the exact mileage on the transmission, but I recall it being in the low 200K range. It was pulled from a 1996 Land Cruiser that had a blown head gasket. The previous owner didn't want the transmission because he was doing an LS swap, instead of repairing the HG. I have no idea if...
Full disclosure, the engine has a blown head gasket.
The motor is from a 1996 Land Cruiser. I don't recall exactly how many miles were on the motor before it was pulled, but I believe it is in the low 200K range.
I acquired the engine with the intent to turn it into a boosted motor; my plans...
My parents are getting ready to do some light construction on their property and haven't been having any luck finding decent help or contractors. They are planning on putting in a horse shelter before the Winter. At the moment they are trying to get some concrete poured, but aren't having any...
With a new baby came the need for more space. My wife and I needed a new vehicle fast, so we opted to add another Toyota to the family...well, Lexus. I just picked it up in SC this afternoon.
This will be Laurel's daily driver. The truck will stay stock and be preserved. Couldn't believe our...
I just got a 40 gallon water-based parts washer for my birthday. Does anyone else run water-based solution? What are you using and what is your favorite degreaser so far?
I wanted to share some exciting news to the ONSC crew. Laurel and I are going to have another baby!
I was told to share it here on 'Mud so people don't think my wife being sick, and me staying home a lot to help out, is because of something dire. It's the exact opposite in fact. We are looking...
The photos for the 2018 Carolina Relic Run are completed. It was a tremendous weekend and a fantastic chance to see friends and meet new cruiserheads.
Many thanks go out to all the guys who let me hitch a ride with them to get these shots. I couldn’t have done this without you. A similar thanks...
Since I just had a brand new Optima yellow top go bad on me (putting out 9 CCA, but showing 12.5V) and another die on me on trail at GSMTR (20 CCA and 12.5V), I realized I've made bad life battery choices. I need to start looking into a better brand.
What battery do you use?
Toyota at the 24 Hours of Le Mans isn't really news. They've been racing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans many times. The big news is that this year they are highly favored to win the race. More so now than any years prior.
The reason that this is a big deal is that they could become the second...
