They do not appear to be exactly the same. I own the Qikazz model and the adapter appears to be different than the EA model. Functionally, they are probably the same.
I have a similar build, but running 35" tires on stock axles. I've regeared to 4.88. The revs are a little high at highway speeds, but with 37" you'd be pretty comfortable. I have zero trouble going up hills.
If you really want to dig in, the attachment is an academic comparison of catch cans out of Australia (published by SAE International).
Top performer was the Mann Provent

I bought a performance rebuild kit through Noordeman in Australia. Those guys were an absolute pleasure to work with.
I spent $3,800, including shipping for the kit. I rebuilt the engine at Engines by AIMS in Nevada for around $2800. These guys have worked on several 1HD-T and FT engines over...
First off, Jellis is a smart guy. You'll learn everything you'll need to know from him.
My opinion: I wouldn't worry about a branded title. As long as the frame / axles are in good condition, you shouldn't have to fret it.
Smoke on startup can be a few things, though pretty much every HDJ81...
No, it included pulling / installing. I can't recall if im including the new torque converter I put in there as well. Its all a blur now, but IT IS expensive. You'll find others on various 80s Facebook Groups paying roughly what I did. There is no reason anyone should have to pay that, but I...
Local shop did the rebuild. Cost me $5000 something, which is a joke, but that was roughly the same price I got from most shops around me. Ended up selling the transmission when a WAT Extreme came up for sale in the states. Didn't need the WAT, but damn, its rare to find one already here and...
According to Engines Australia, the combustion bowl volumes are the same. See attached.
I have a buddy (@Socal81) running late model pistons with early injectors and pump. His truck is running great.
I've also spoken to Noordeman at length and they insist there is essentially no real...
Copy that. I imported mine through CNJ Motorsport in 2017 (part #: SCHDJ80-12)
I also spoke with Scott @ Eco-offroad and he said he could get it to me for even cheaper than what I paid CNJ (again, this was back in 2017)
