Buying A Winch On A Tight Budget, Runva?

Hey guys, im looking at buying a winch hopefully this week as i spend alot of time out the bush by myself cutting firewood and where i live it gets a bit difficult to get to some places. I really just need to have one so in-case i do get stuck i can hopefully get out. I dont have a very big...

    Australian Pig?

Ended up getting some cheap 35/12.5/15 Maxxis Bighorns to throw on the old girl for the time being, really surprised they dont rub. They probably will with extreme flex but that wont be happening for a while. And ended up with a decent roof cage finally :) Oh yeah and i ended up scoring...

I have no idea what im doing, 2H problem

Hey guys, i brought this 60 series cruiser as a parts bus for when i SOA my FJ55. But now my mate wants to buy it as a mud slut, so we decided to get it going. When i brought it the bloke that owned it said it was a 'glow plug relay' and i have no idea what or where that is, ive never worked...

    Australian Pig?

Haha no s*** mate. Didnt think there would be anyone else in Tassie with one. Il have to check yours out. Did the bloke you know live in Deloraine? as thats where i brought it from and he said it came from the Burnie/Devonport area. On another note, i picked up a cheap 60 series yesterday...

    Australian Pig?

Thats where they're mounted in every car/4wd ive ever seen in Australia mate. Always mounted on the B-pillar. Apart for some really early vehicles when they first started implementing them and they were just a over-your-waist belt.

    Australian Pig?

Haha, its them damn shackles!! They dig into the clay, if you notice in the other pic, a big chuck stuck to them. I dont know how much this will end up being actually restored like alot of the others ive seen, as i said at the start i brought this for a woodcutting tow vehicle so its going to be...

    Australian Pig?

Apologies if this is too many pics? I love seeing ALOT of pics of other blokes, so thought id share alot of angles. And i will get around to cleaning it, at some point. The interior and engine bay werent this bad when i got it, but we put it through some pretty deep holes yesterday. Is this...

    Australian Pig?

These are most of the areas you can actually see the rust. I havent gotten around to cleaning it yet, its way too cold outside to even think about it just yet

    Australian Pig?

It actually has a Holley, which im assuming isn't stock and already has Extractors, though they're leaking badly at the rear 3 to 1. Another thing that needs fixing. I dont think il be going too crazy with the build (hopefully), not yet anyway. It has ridiculous torque as it is, will pull...

    Australian Pig?

Alright cool, looks like il start doing a bit more reading up on here. From what i was reading earlier they were mentioning F100/150 parts, i assumed they meant Ford's, and theyre not very common down where i live either. (i dont live on mainland Australia, i live in Tasmania, the Island state...
