I believe your nice comment needs no reply, except I did buy those bushings in 2017 & installed them in 2020.
Supply chains & demand have changed since then, things are getting stupid expensive if you can find the product in stock.
It appears that I have not posted within the last 2 years on...
That slide to the driver for 20 feet till you hit the slide obstacle make me sick every time Ive watched through the years... must feel terrible.
I think Ive seen on Instagram you did front coilovers correct? I'm I right? Time for an update.
Yep, "Done in One" hanging tire left foot on break the whole time all the way up.
MudHogs are "E" rated also.
Best Price I saw last week was $312 from WalMart. Where did you get yours? @mustcamp
I had Doetsch 812SS didnt like them, too soft & non charged.
You want a charged shock in front & non charged in rear to prevent rearing up in hard breaking turns.
If you like current shock valving & just want longer shocks then just space down the shocks 2".
Ls are 2" longer than normal OME nitros.
In rear 2 bolts mount the shock bracket, Get 1/2 pipe nipples or similar with longer bolts.
I did mine with tubing see my build thread early on like say page 5...
@TRAIL TAILOR
Have you thought about making a 3rd skid for the gas tank? You could incorporate gliders into the rear link mounts. I know it would be tricky with stock exhaust.
@TRAIL TAILOR has taken over the Cruzin Offroad product line from Canada. These plates give the most coverages of anything I've seen besides custom. I'm sure he can make an extended plate for under the tank.
Pull the pump from the second row then get a wood stick like a clothing rod & pound it out.
If you go with a body lift, it pulls the tank up above the frame. Now you can put on a flat belly plate strait to the frame.
Mine is smashed in the rear from a rock on Dusy, lost about 2 gallons of...
Icon valves the Icon 2.0 and 2.5 specifically for the Slinky lift.
I don't know if Slinky has a US dealer.
The Dobinson 2.5" 146/147vt & yellow 4" shocks are a very great setup.
Clean rig.
Just sayin, not complaining... but honestly if I was entering the 80 series market with current prices I would be unable to purchase. I bought at the bottom of the market for $5600 with 173K.
The Land Cruiser brand has definitely has made main stream to the public.
Front .75" TourFlex plus 25mm lift.
Rear 1" Toughdog plus 30mm plus 10mm.
Add from 20" from stock fenders.
Also have 1" body lift.
So roughly 2.75" Front & 3.25" rear.
It squats about .75" with an extra 850#s.
The 866 coil is a 40mm lift 240/300# dual rate.
You can put your 862s back in with a 2" spacer those are 170/260# the 863s are 250#.
Dobinson is a good brand, I also have been happy with my Toughdog 220/280# 1" lift for years. I run light then in 5 minutes can add 1,000 of load with people, dogs & a ice chest. Should of got the 2" but I have...
