Hey guys. So I've got a 1994 1FZ-FE 80 Series (manual). I've been getting oil in the coolant for ages. After changing the oil cooler and getting the head done, I've come to the conclusion that it can only leave the block to be the issue.
So, here is my question. Has anyone done an LS1...
I got a head from a reputable supplier so I have no doubt it's okay. And I did check the block when the head was off and there was nothing visible. If anything it looked really good.
Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone can help with an issue I'm having with my 80 Series. Okay, so here it is
I have had my 94 80 Series cruiser with 1fz-fe motor for 18 months now. Since I've had it, it's been getting oil in the radiator. But not getting any coolant in sump. Correct me if I'm...
Thanks heaps mate. How hard is it to do? I'm a diesel mechanic but only work on Heavy Rigid trucks, not cars/4x4. Is the drain plug in the block easily accessible?
Thanks for that mate. I run Nulon coolant and flushed it like you described before using it. So I don't think that's the issue. Oil cooler or transmission cooler? Which would be more likely do you think, and which is easier to repair in your opinion?
Hey guys, bought my 80 series about 6 months ago. Serviced it a while ago and when I drained the coolant I noticed oil in my radiator (milky white oil). No coolant is getting into the engine oil though. Does anyone have any thoughts on what the cause could be?
Cheers
Hey guys. I'm new to this so bare with me. Just wondering if a lack of power in my truck could be due to needing a new fuel filter. Any other suggestions? Cheers
Hi all, just wondering whether or not to convert my full time 80 to part time? Marks do a kit for about 600 bux. Just wanna know if it's worth it, and what advantages it would have on my truck. Also, are they easy to install? Any help would be great, cheers
