No CEL in key position 2

Well... After further review. The CEL light bulb was burnt out. Which led me to believe the fuel pump had failed. After swapping the pump out from the donor... SHE RUNS!!! The moral of this story is to check your CEL bulb. Glad I didn't tear into it further... thanks for all the advice and help...

No CEL in key position 2

I'm sorry... I was mistaken... the door tag in the pic is the recipient . I'll get a pic of the donor door tag donor tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up on the starter fluid posts. I'll read through them.

If I have 12v at the diagnostic B+ that means my ECM has power... right?

It's a real gem alright... I just dont know what would cause the no CEL :( I've swapp3d everything related to it from the donor (with the exception of the ECM) could a dirty trans plug or something similar cut that readyness off?

No CEL in key position 2

I don't have a title yet... but the door manufacture date is 10/94 and it has an OBD 2 port. The harnesses engine are Identical from the donor. Are there different types of OBD 2?

No CEL in key position 2

Hey guys... tried pouring over similar threads and cant seem to find a fix. I swapped in a running motor from a 96 LX450 into a 1994 LC that sat awhile. I can get it to run with starter fluid, but no CEL... could the ECU be bad?

    PHH clamp tightness

I'm lucky enough to have the engine from a donor vehicle going in and realize that I've got spring clamps from both vehicles (that are on one side of the FHH and PHH) Would it hurt anything to use exclusivley those? Unless someone can bring a good arguement against them... I'm going to go for it 👍

1FZ-FE Newbie w/big problem (no oil pressure)

I've gone down the path of working with WIX to resolve my no oil pressure issue... their first response was to ask why I was "using diesel engine oil in my vehicle" as if that was somehow a contributor... next their official and final response for denial was the use of a 1348 in my lexus LX450...

    97 FZJ80 Low / No Oil Pressure

I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone for posting in this thread... In specific the response from Mann Hummel that is very similar to my warranty claim... EXCEPT mine was never flow tested!!! I've followed up with their main guy Mike Huffstedtler in that I now have proof of cherry picking...

If you're using a WIX oil filter read this

Thanks... 4 years ago I was putting shapes into cups at a neuro recovery clinic from a traumatic brain injury. Things like this prove I'm not out of the woods. I have a plan to buy oil filters from both Lexus and Toyota dealerships keeping the receipts showing the same part #'s.

So Here's the response from these crooked bastards... After reading their response... I'll copy mine below... and let me know if you think I'm going the right direction with this. It goes without saying... I'm mad as hell with these crooked a$$holes. You know they'd never admit to a defective...

If you're using a WIX oil filter read this

Gotcha... the saga continues... I've now surrendered the property to NAPA. I'm supposed to get a response in a couple more weeks as to how to move forward ( I'm extremely hesitant in thinking they'll admit fault, but have to make good ). I've attempted to start the vehicle up again and now have...
