I have installed 3 inch spacer lifts on two Tundras and a 5th gen 4Runner and never installed a diff drop. I have logged many thousands of miles on those vehicles with no problems. The guys at ACC disagree with you that a diff drop is needed. The increase in lift is not as much as what I got...
What exactly did I do improperly? It was purchased from SLEE, installed by a reputable shop, and used as prescribed by SLEE. I am just relaying for buyers to beware if they have a truck with a lot of miles on the CVs. I am hopeful the SLEE override will now serve my purposes until the AHC...
I'm totall happy with ACC doing my work. I can do my own oil changes, I just choose not to. I started with them to do all my basic maintenance that I didn't want/couldn't do myself and while it was there the oil would get changed. I wouldn't drive the 300 miles round trip otherwise.
I won't...

The tech that put in my AHC over-ride found the spot with the bolt missing. I told him it rattled intermittently, and that putting upward pressure on the vent made it go away. My guess is something around that vent is metallic under the plastic shroud. Its a very "tinny" sound. He also...
Had this little upgrade installed by the great folks at ACC Garage in Atlanta. AHC override switch. Also alignment as I plan to run in high exclusively.
My trip to ACC Garage Friday solved the mystery. I had them look for the culprit as they were installing the AHC override switch. Turns out there was a bolt missing under the panel. New bolt. No rattle. All is right in the world now!!!
I have a very annoying rattle coming from the vent that is under the steering wheel. It does not always rattle. I cannot seem to track down what it might be. I have however found that if I put pressure on the vent with my and it goes away.
Anyone have any ideas?
Ive never needed a heater in my tent either. I've been comfortable in my Wiggys bag down to 15deg with little to no clothing. It sounds crazy but it works. I do sleep on a closed cell mat and thermarest neo-air. Great combo. I do like to eat a good meal before bed to keep the engine burning on...
I took mine to the good folks at ACC garage in Atlanta. Great new building that they are in. They are truly customer oriented. I drive 6 hours round-trip to get my LC serviced with them. I had a long list of things to be done when I got there. After a couple different conversions throughout the...
Ordered tires this morning. Install will be Wednesday. 275/70R18 Toyo OC AT2. Even found a buyer for my Michelin take-offs so even better!
All I have left to do is install my Slee AHC over-ride and find some sliders and I will be done.
Yes I know about the bypass. I also know that it comes with a disclaimer about it being a violation of federal law to bypass the emissions. Since I do not have the skills to install it myself, I had to go the legal route.
Easy stuff - new gas cap, air filter, wipers front and rear.
Oh and a repair of that pesky secondary air intake system failure at a low low cost of $1958.00
