In the last 500 miles I changed the oil(had it analyzed and it looks very good...
replacedd the cap, rotor, wires and plugs. the stumble was still there, but the truck ran better(the tune up was probably long over due).
replaced the fuel filter(and messed about with the resistor wiring, but did not actually replace or test anything) and a couple days later, the stumble was...
couple weeks ago, and very suddenly, my 97 which I drive only on weekends, started to sputter on acceleration from a standstill. Only does it while hot. goes away by 2500-3000 rpm.
no CEL.
dealer diagnostics showed it to be missing, recommended plugs, wires, cap, etc. and a fuel filter...
well, I got to look into it. Not sure how s*** like this happens:
I'll have to add the pic later. The rubber end cap on the cruise control line came off and worked itself up the cable into the cam.
Wierd.
I picked up a pair of 2012 camero seats and fabbed brackets to bolt them into my 2nd gen 4Runner. Though super comfy and looked good in the old grey goat I'd only do it if I didn't have a viable seat to reupholster

I'd like to use the Toyota fill diverter, and a transfer pump. I probably wouldn't...
I bought mine used, and discovered quite accidentally that there is sae hardware that is just close enuf to the metric nuts to cuase s serious problem. Yours was new though, right?
I'd love to hear a cost on 2 inches. My one and only goal in suspension replacement it to make the rig soak up fire roads and washboard better, and a bit of lift to get the "look" better. 285s fit nicely stock, until i pack it to the gills and hook up the moto trailer. then they barely fit...
