    couple weeks ago, and very suddenly, my 97 which I drive only on weekends, started to sputter on acceleration from a standstill. Only does it while hot. goes away by 2500-3000 rpm. no CEL. dealer diagnostics showed it to be missing, recommended plugs, wires, cap, etc. and a fuel filter...

    well, I got to look into it. Not sure how s*** like this happens: I'll have to add the pic later. The rubber end cap on the cruise control line came off and worked itself up the cable into the cam. Wierd.

    I actually did toe up the pedal... No change. I guess 900 is a bit high, never occurred to me. This afternoon my G ride broke down and while waiting for a tow, I poppd the hood and found a pack rat nest. Coincidence? I doubt it.
