    Thanks for all the quick replies. So it was the alternator. I guess the low voltage decided to throw the cel 84 ecm code randomly which makes perfect sense if the electronics aren't getting correct volts. Dang scary code to get but all is well now

    Well I figured it out the alternator died right after I got home from the mud bog. I had just enough juice to make to the bank and back. Glad I got home lol.     Digital meter. It jumped up and down a 100 or so ohms on the way open and closed. It read within spec fully open fully closed. Code was there before I touched anything after putting new walbro fuel pump in to get it started after it sat in field for 5 yrs

    I just found out orielly scan send off the VAf to cardone to get it rebuilt for under 300. That is way better than what mr T wants for a new one but I want to be sure that is what the problem is. So if it doesn't operate smooth should I go ahead and bite the bullet.

    Haha no I did my head gasket because it needed it and I removed my pair because it was falling apart on the inside It made a weird rattling sound and that was one persons solution for his lean code. Not sure if it was bad or not though. That was the first thing I tried.
