I just received a new to me rear sway bar. The frame mounts are different from what I have. The one on my truck is mounted to the bottom of the frame and the new one looks like it bolts to the side of the frame. Are the two types interchangeable?
OK wise a**es. I finally got it loose. Had to spray WD40 in the ignition. The tumblers were all gummed up. I had a weak moment, paniced and posted crap.
I got in the truck this AM and my key won't turn the ignition. It is the original key and was worn so I got a new set from the dealer cut off the VIN. They still don't work. I get the beep but it won't let the key turn. Very strange because it worked last night. Anyone have an idea what is...
Just busting balls Rob. I'm sure you gave full disclousure. Jeff deleted the gallery, so no pic. It was a classic. Bunch of guys trying to unstuck your rig with your son fast asleep in his car seat.
You gonna try to come to the meeting this sunday?
Ideally I would have 2 80's. Mine was super nice when I bought it 3 years ago with 70K miles. I have wheeled it a bunch and it shows. If it is possible I would pick up a beater to go wheeling and keep the nice one nice. I know funds are always an issue but there are some real deals out there...
I talked to one of the drivers briefly. It has the I-6, so he said its a real pig. It was horroble to drive in the Poconos so I couldn't imagine how bad it would be in the Rockies. He said it was great in the snow though.
The suspention looks stock. So, who is gonna buy it and put a...
I like the way you did that. I havent really seen a cut up 80 that I like the way it looks. (Besides Slee's) It is like the fj55, they don't make astecially pleasing buggies imo.
LS, I think you are taking opinions too much to heart. It is great to see people trying new things and seeing...
Thank you gents. Harbor freight had heat guns for $10 so I got one. Hopefully it doesn't shoot flames and set the truck on fire. I guess I'll try it with out taking it off the truck first. Plan B will be to un bolt it.
This is not a shakey mirror problem. It is a broken mirror problem. It is an oem replacement mirror from the toyota dealer. When I smacked the tree it did nothing but break the glass. How it did this without wrecking the whole housing I have no idea.
Maybe I wasn't clear. I cracked my DS mirror at the CMCC when I caught it on a tree. I have replacement glass and back pad. I am looking for info on how to replace the glass only. I assume the heat gun is to soften the plastic holding the mirror and the just pry it out and insert the...
