Little update. Today I adjusted my shocks. After putting my armor back on over the weekend, I wasn't loving the ride feeling. Thanks to @CW100 for sharing his. I pretty much copied, and I'm happier with thy highway feel now.
New settings front:
There's a company that does a ventilated seat kit for the 100. Comes with new perforated skins, new reticulated foam, the fans and the wiring. I forget what the group is called but worth a Google. It's been on my list for a few years.
Your Cherokee on 31s wasn't doing anything a stock 100 can't do. Especially any model with ATRAC. You won't be disappointed.
Sorry for your loss. I dig an XJ. Was driven home from the hospital in one when I was born.
Only your opinion. Thank you.
I guess someone needs to love the "also-rans', right? Like, people buy Pepsi and Hydrox, I suppose.
It is kind of funny though. Toyota is THE Japanese brand. Nissan has been building Patrols and Presidents to compete with the Cruisers...
Pick an AT. Most, if not all, MTs are horrible in any kind of snow or ice. If you're not planning on doing hardcore wheeling, an AT will be all you'll need and there's no reason to pound pavement with an MT. You'd likely spend a little more and hate the drive quality. Lose-lose, IMO.
