The 3FE motor is a stock Toyota motor that you can find in the later Land Cruiser modles such as the FJ-80s, these motors have 20+ more horse power than the stock 2F motor, plus, they have a fuel injection.
For the price of a new EFI system ($1000+), you could buy a 3FE motor for $700

Another advantage of using the rope over the wire is that the rope has more flex in it, the cable has a bit of flex, but not as much as the rope.

I don't think that i will be coming this time, I need to work on the 383, there is somthing wrong with the Starter Motor and the Tranny seems to be broken :-[

why do you want to replace the axles any way?
the toyota axles are really strong anyways.
the front Full Floater is as strong as a Dana 60
and the rear is like a Ford 9"!
Why change them?
The newer the Toyota, the better the axle quality
