Broke cable unsure how to repair

Yes I do have wire coming off the plate. I could splice it but would rather do it the right way.

Broke cable unsure how to repair

So I got the block out but the white wire that you see in my picture is not bolted to it. It is crimped on ? So how can I go about replacing this? Does Toyota sell the whole block as one piece with the wire?

Broke cable unsure how to repair

As you can see this cable broke that went to battery from this fuse box. Does anyone know how to remove this cable? It feeds in the bottom of the box but I can figure out if it's just a spade connector and I need to disconnect it or if it is more involved in replacing it.

    Coolant sensor wire broke

So yeah my sensor wire broke when I was putting the manifold back on. It had broke previously and I used a butt tap to fix it (not sure 100%) anyways I used a different connector to resplice and now it no longer works. Is there a better way of fixing the wire more permently ?

    Waterpump exploded

Do you have Bap auto parts up there? They should have them. Also, FYI I would not buy from Toyota. Toyota contracts with parts supplier Aisin and they make them. So go to your local parts supply house and ask for an Aisin brand water pump.

Help name part that is broken

Upper plenum is off so it should make it easier. I will give it a go with a tap and report back. I wonder if I pull the thermostat out if I could get a shop towel in the thermostat housing where the hole is. Maybe that would stop some shavings falling in as well. Next question would be is...

Help name part that is broken

Mine is not threaded. Mine is what's called a push style hose union. From what I can tell it changed in 86 or 87 to the threaded style. I have a threaded style union I picked up from the dealership. How hard would it be to use a tap and die and cut the threads so that the threaded union...

Help name part that is broken

That is the same part they gave me. The union that came out is called a push union I believe. I don't believe I can thread a union in to that hole.

Help name part that is broken

Here are a few more pics to clarify where and what it is. Good thing it broke when pulling hose off as what ever this thing is, is totally clogged with rust and such. If anyone knows a part number please post us as the dealership has already given me the wrong part. They gave me a...

Hi, just broke this part trying to change a hose. The spigot rusted and just snapped. It is the brass one that had the jagged end.

    Newb with 85 4Runner.

85s rock. Enjoy your new rig and drive it like you stole it when you get the engine sorted out. A word of advice on the engine. If you can afford it buy a factory Toyota long block. Cdan can probably get you a good price. I wish I had gone that route. If you plan on keeping that rig long term...

Two part issue. Question about no start and ground

KLF, If you are ever in Phoenix, AZ and need work done go to Camelback Toyota. They have two master mechanics who have been with Toyota for 25 years. They kick butt and I absolutely trust my rig to their care.

Two part issue. Question about no start and ground

No, not high pressure thank god. Just the hose from fuel pressure regulator to the firewall return pipe for the gas tank. I am taking my rig in to the dealership here to have valves adjusted and the timing checked. I have never really felt comfortable adjusting the valves myself because the...

Two part issue. Question about no start and ground

Also could you give me your thoughts on this. This seems like a lot of build up for a new engine. Engine is a brand new long block with 1500 to 2000 miles on it.
