This is a great read. How did the rest go. I was pitting around the corner on gen right. Meant t stop over but was pretty busy with our cars. Broke the end off a d60 rear end on the 4500 car. Got another sent out from Phoenix, but it needed all the shock and suspension mounts fabbed and welded...
I've been on a pit crew for a 4400 series car the last 4 years. Team 602.And have helped with a 4500 car the last 2 years. Team 4544. Every year is a new challenge. It's a lot of fun out there. This year I'll be there on Monday the 5th. I'll be driving my beat up green and grey 80 around and at...
This was the problem. I did not have the case fully locked when I installed the actuator. Once I re did it it is now working as it should. Thank you gentleman!
I've read this thread a few times now, and I'm at a loss.
Long story short, the cdl in my 96 quit working about a year ago. I took the actuator out cleaned it up, regressed it and put it back together. No go. At the time I found a used transfer case here local, with less miles than I had on...
WTB-
I have a friend looking for an 80 series gas tank. If anyone has one, or knows of a rig being parted let me know.
Also, I myself am looking for a set of tail lights that aren't broken, and a driver side mirror for a 96ish. Some lovely person at Home Depot decided to forcefully adjust mine...
Quick hijack.... My wife went to Loveland high, I went to Thompson valley. Albeit, 20 years ago, but..... We now live in Phoenix, but do go back to visit here n there. Used to camp up the buckhorn and storm mountain pretty often. Good score on the cruiser.
Been a while since I've posted here, but figured I'd ask the forum before I wasted too much time sourcing and figuring it all out (probably twice) to get it done.
My factory front bumper has about had it, and last year on a trip up to crown king I folded it back enough to catch the ad canister...
Out of curiousity, would you be interested in a partial trade? I have a set of 5 terragrapplers, 315s on factory rims, with a bit over 5k on em. Nit entirely sure if can do anyway, as I would need to get spring spacers on the front before I could go bigger, just asking.
How is the seat leather? Inner door panels, ah hell, my whole interior could be replaced.
What about the rocker panels, under the doors? Mine aren't, really, salvageable, anymore!
I have a box of panavise 14" flexible risers for sale. Part # 797-14. If anybody wants some let me know. I'll sell em for a negotiable price of $10. Youll need to pick em up or meet me at my convenience. Let me know if any interest, if not ill throw em on eBay.
We made it to mile 179 out of 194, had 3 hours left, but that was all they could do. The buggy had a misfire going into the race no one could figure out. Into the third lap, it got so bad he couldnt climb obstacles anymore. And once the winch broke, they threw in the towel. I was working the...
I'll try to post pics. It's a 6.0 built w/ turbo 400 and an atlas. Running thru built Dana 60s on 40" meats. It's been a lot of fun. We built it in a mad dash for last year's KOH, but he popped 2 tires during the qualifier, and missed it by 22 seconds. He ran ultra4 for the season, hot enough...
I'm going out the night of 5th, or morning of 6th. I helped build a rig that is in it. Team 602. We have a rather large group going out between pit crew and friends.
I've installed a couple 40" rigid bars on rzr's and a 20" bar, and a pair of duellys on a ultra4 race buggy. I don't have pics, but they don't look blue. Pretty bright. I also installed a 20" amber bar on the buggy, works well in dust. The buggy will be in KOH this year.
A few of the guys...
My neighbor has an off-road buggy built for ultra4 racing. We're going out to 'the king of the hammers' race this year. My friend has one season on his solid axel rig, and is already looking into building a new ifs buggy. That's what all the big names are doing now. Ugh
