AHC Wiring Delete in Engine Bay

I appreciate your detailed information! Yes you were correct to focus on the red marked connectors. Sounds like I can can only disconnect one of them (height sensor) and need to keep the speed sensor. I guess my goal of removing all wiring in that area won’t work but it’s good to know for sure!

AHC Wiring Delete in Engine Bay

Quick dumb question: I have removed the AHC system and I’m trying to mount a compressor in the area. There are three connectors that came off the pump/reservoir assembly. However there are two more smaller connectors that split off of the same harness leg. Are these AHC sensors or something I...

It would increase linearly. 20% longer lever arm = 20% more stress. Send it!

Ironman 4x4 America - Buy More - Save More

Any bumper deals coming up? I really should have snagged one when you were running the 25% off but finances were plentiful back then.

I have killed the cabin drone.

After installing sliders, I developed the same booming drone while stopped just below 600 rpm. Took off the damper on the passenger side (made things worse). Now I'm going to try and slap it on the drivers side and see if it helps. These dampers are tuned (literally called TMDs - Tuned Mass...

SOLD San Jose, CA: Set of 18" Sequoia Wheels, 5-Lug with 275/65/18 Terra Grappler G2 + TPMS

Picked up a set of these but then came across a deal of a lifetime on some 16" tires, so these must go. Selling them for the same price I got them from a fellow enthusiast. Quiet on the freeway, no balancing/leaking issues to report. A little rash on one wheel, and a few cosmetic issues, but...

Mystery noise: cyclical humming from front right side

Late update, but I think its worth mentioning that the new wheel bearing solved my problem. I would've saved myself some time/effort if I had inspected both before replacing. I've learned its pretty hard to tell where a sound is coming from. Definitely inspect both wheel bearings to be safe.

Wanted Bay Area, CA: 5 Lug Wheels and Tires (~33" AT)

Looking for a set of wheels and tires for my 100. The idea of buying new wheels and tires for $2000 hurts so curious to see if anyone is wanting to change things up and sell theirs. Ideally, I'd like black or gunmetal 17" wheels with around 33" all terrains with good tread left. I'm willing to...

    Super Secret cupholder

Reviving an old thread (but hey at least I'm searching)! Does anyone have a part number for the latch that holds the cupholders into the lid? Mine is obviously broken but I do like having the extra cupholders occasionally.

Mystery noise: cyclical humming from front right side

Got a Timken set on the way. I was frustrated--logic won out eventually! Hopefully this solves the problem but there's certainly no chance it doesn't help given the state of the bearing.

Mystery noise: cyclical humming from front right side

I finally got all the parts and tools in and went and replaced the bearings on the front right wheel. The old ones looked fine but I already had the new ones so I decided to just swap them out. After going for a test drive, the noise was still there, but sounded more like it was coming from the...
