Thanks found a spec for 51 ft/lbs from another thread but was a Haynes manual for 80 series I believe. Anyway 14 mm nut torque on a sor scale says 45-55 so It’s gotta be close. Loctite

Anyone know the torque value on the 6 bolts on the axel flanges that hold on the rear backing plates? I have a 79/2 semi float rear axel. Looked through my manuals under diff, brakes and such but couldn’t find it. They were hard to take apart.

Hello there. Who is doing the alternator rebuilds? I would like to send my OEM 2f alternator and starter.

I found the old capture nuts and cut out pieces from the panels. Would having these pieces help in configuration of the new ones?

Thanks for the advice. Panels just came yesterday from CCOT. Waiting for the rest from Real Steel Cruisers. Not sure how I’m going to start replacing the panels yet. Maybe I need to find the correct dimensions since I only welded 1 bar across the back.

Update. Bought a RearMainSeal from CityRacer 42.00 OEM. Also bought the Fel-Pro TCS 45613 Timing Cover Set coming, includes front seal. Any thoughts? Someone at FelPro said they used spray copper gasket adhesives instead of RTV. Blue thread locker on the bottom threads as per POSER and the FSM.
