Chuck, I have a '99 LX470 without a hitch. Wondering if I remove the rear bumper to expose the rear crossmember, would there be a location to mount the thru-bumper hitch like you have? Or, did they actually change the design of the rear crossmember after '99? Thanks!

If you use the search function and search "PADDO" by member, you will find everything you need to know about your AHC system. Very detail oriented, I just overhauled my 99 470 AHC suspension and found his posts very helpful.

I'm looking for a good independent mechanic in the Birmingham area who can change out the front AHC accumulator globes and re-index the torsion bars on my 99 LX470. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Nice work on the LX! Any luck isolating the source of the vibration at highway speeds? I'm chasing the same issue on my '99 LX 470. Rebuilt the transmission, new tires, new OEM drive shafts, new bushings all around etc..... Any information you could pass on would be greatly appreciated...
