Man, this thread took off. I'm the original seller. I already mentioned that the buyer can do as he wishes but using my exact advertisement, my photos, and giving out my actual link to more photos on my photo archiving site was wrong. And yes, as someone else mentioned, I thought she (the...
I called him and of course he didn't answer but I did express my thoughts. Again, I was truly hoping she was going to someone who cared about the old vehicles.
I'm the original seller and it does look like he is trying to flip her. He's being very lazy using my old add and photos. She is a good vehicle but man he talked a good game of really enjoying old cruisers. He can technically resell her as he wishes but the way he is doing it is just plain...
The time has come after almost 19 years for me to sell my 1976 Toyota Landcruiser. A new baby and busier life have taken my time away from her. It’s time for someone else to enjoy her another 20 years. You would be the third owner.

I was referred to this forum from the "regular forums"...hope this is the right place. I realize many of you work on your own cruisers (I'll do small stuff) but honestly, I don't have the time, tools, or garage space to do "big" stuff. So, does anyone know of a mechanic (individual or shop) that...
Hello everyone. Seems like a long while back someone mentioned a mechanic (individual or shop) near Charlotte, NC that works on cruisers. If anyone knows someone or some place that works on cruisers, please let me know. I've got a 1976 FJ40. I realize most here work on their on own...
Nice Rig: Question for you
I too am in Charlotte...a long while back I recollect someone saying there was a shop "not too far away" that worked on cruisers. My 76' needs a tune up...and I just don't have the time to work on it. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks,
I'm in Charlotte as well...
I have a 76 cruiser....I've had it since highschool (roughly 13 years). Does the email attached to your contact info work?
I've recently been reunited with the cruiser ( its been with my parents in Alabama)...I could possibly use some advise in the near future. I...
My 4 Runner is sitting at 150,000 miles. The truck has been great over the last 9 years that I've had it. My question is about maintenance for a somewhat of a high mileage vehicle (we no toyotas can go for much longer though :) ) I have no problems at all at the moment but was wondering if I...
Follow Up
No, its not happening when I push the clutch in....just at high RPM if you will...right before you can hear the engine needing to shift to next highest gear....Is the consensus really just another belt? That would be nice.
I'm just getting back to my old cruiser after many years away from it...school, moving, etc....
The problem: whenever I'm about to change gears upwards...1 to 2...2 to 3...etc.....the engine (Belts?) start squeeling quite loudly...very annoying. I pretty much am limited to not going over 40...
