    Water Crossings!!!

I did not have any issues with water getting into the cab and getting my carpets wet. I think it just has to do with keep moving and the door sills will do enough to keep it out. I am sure if stopped it would get in. The picture by Mark above is me (40th). We had deeper water than that and as...

    Won't downshift??

Ditto the above on the Shift Cable. Might make sense to check your wiring harness along the fuel rail line and make sure the clip hasn't broken and made it's way onto the EGR Valve. I found this to be my problem immediately after washing my engine bay as well resulting in the problems you describe.

Looking for Feedback on WagonGear's Tailgate Lid

I really do appreciate mine. I keep a bunch of my fly fishing gear stored as well as gloves, and misc. stuff. Makes the back of the vehicle much cleaner. It will also fit a shotgun cleanly :D

Maroon 80 Spotted in Milpitas, CA

HAHA!! I get the pleasure to travel for my work and was out at the HQ with a customer when I spotted this. :) There may be more 80's in CA than in CO. That makes me want to do some type of poll to see where most of the 80 members reside. Cisco is City Hall for Milpitas, CA right? Is that the...

    Two for one accident...

That brings back some bad memories for me. I had insurance with USAA years ago (1998 is when it ended) when I had parked outside on the street instead of the back in my garage. Was cleaning the garage so I decided to leave them out on the street for the night. While getting ready for bed I hear...

    Prepare rig for water

Distributor is the main issue with these vehicles. There are 2 holes towards the bottom of it that is there for venting. Those can be sealed to some degree to prevent the majority of water splashing in. Just a little can cause the engine to run poorly or not at all. Get a mirror and look below...

2nd Gear Switch - Who uses that? Why?

2nd Gear start button on Center Console by the shifter. Shifting into 2nd doesn't start it in 2nd. It goes from 1st then 2nd when shifter is placed into 2nd gear. 2nd gear start causes the cruiser to start in 2nd and then up to whatever. Shifting into 2nd limits it to not leaving 2nd gear on...

2nd Gear Switch - Who uses that? Why?

Use mine here in Colorado when snowing. Keeps me from having to pay too much attention to my start off. It starts in 2nd which keeps wheel spin to zero and when crawling it keeps the jerking to a minimum.
