It was amazing but sadly I had to sell it. Wife wanted flooring and we paid off some debt.
Here is my list for any hj61.
First cooling system. Rod out the radiator or at least flush it. Change all hoses. All of them!
With the lift go heavy rated springs the 12ht is a heavy beast.
33s are...
I'm at high altitude with pretty tough temps. Going from 0 degrees in January to 100+ in July. I would love an intercooler, but most I've seen take up a ton of space under the hood. Like mentioned if its part of the drop in fab and won't hurt your time crunch do it, but it is not necessary...
My thermostat stuck closed and I ended up blowing the Bypass hose. This bugger is hard to put on when mad, covered in coolant, and its getting dark.
I too could post up pics if needed. GOod luck!
Get excited man! This will be a sweet rig once you are done! I'm loving that there are more oil burners showing up! Anything you need let me know! IF you need pictures of a completed engine or whatever. Keep up the great work! Your definitely doing this the smart way. The whole ounce of...
There is an aftermarket version here sold by Spector that seems pretty good. A friend just had them installed on his 60 and it looks good. I'll see if I end up doing it! Thanks for the props SPud!
Right!
Some of the trucks coming in are amazing. The price is less than buying a truck and doing the swap. Plus the motors coming in usually have low miles. So worth it!

Best bet is to get an older vehicle. I just bought an HJ61 from www.landcruisersdirect.com Great to work with and I love my truck.
Newer stuff is just hard.
Canada has some quirky rules with the citizinship thing. If you own land up there you can register your rig there, but its a long road...
