I'd recommend replacing all the tie rod ends, most times this is the root cause of a wobble. Tie rod end replacement is a very good place to start and relatively inexpensive all things considered. It wouldn't hurt to verify caster is correct and a alignment as well.
After reading your reply I decided to go out and re-check the torque of the lugs on the vehicle here and they are exactly the same as the day we originally put them on. I guess anything is possible, but with the wheel sets we've powder coated we have never experienced lugs loosening after being...
It sounds as if debris has made it's way into the fuel pump and when the volume of gas in the line itself has been used the pump is unable to refill the lines quick enough to supply the engine. My guess would be that it is time to replace the fuel pump and filter along with blowing out the fuel...
J,
Sure thing here is a link to the seats section of our website and a direct link to ProCar Seating. As I mentioned, they have a quality product.

We have used the Pro Car "Elite" series seats quite often and everyone seems to really like them. They can be purchased covered in vinyl or leather and are well built, comfortable and fairly easy to install.
Hey guys - just got the message last night at 4:37 PM and returned Andrew's call this morning. Cut him some slack guys, we all know it's a skid plate but apparently UPS dragged it behind the truck for the last 5 miles before dropping it off at his house. Not really thrilled to hear the...
Yes the skid should move around. While I'm confident the components fit when installed properly it's possible your truck has been in an accident or is otherwise irregular. I'm happy to provide a replacement leg with a slot as discussed on the phone with you.
Additionally, there is nothing at...
Right on Chad. I like your approach, in fact I built many just like it before settling on the current IPOR design. One of the requirements as I'm sure you have found in building these is repeatability. For this reason I like to keep the number of pieces in a single assembly to a minimum, and...
Okay guys, let's try to keep it civil here.
Tom, I think you hit the nail on the head when you said you're reacting to what your gut tells you. There's nothing wrong with that, sometimes our instincts are right on the mark. I think the point BK is trying to make is that with a more objective...
Rich was kind enough later that day to show off the IPOR skid plate... (and roll cage!)
As you can see from the second pic Rich has and earlier version of the skid plate that used countersunk hardware at the trans mount. We got feedback from 80 owners here on ih8mud that using the countersink...
Here's an example of an 80 that probably sees more action than most running the IPOR skid. Rich likes to run the red trails with the buggys, and sometimes as you all know the 80 just doesn't fit. In this case the wet PA mud and rocks got the better of him and put this pointy rock between the...
Yes, and thanks for the not so subtle hint! LOL! I haven't taken any new pics since we made the change.
In fact, they're currently on special - free shipping to continental USA! (sorry AK and HI - you can have $65 off instead, just call to work it out)
Seriously, these kinds of comments are...
Wow guys, great feedback. I never got the message about this thread, just found it while checking SEO on the new IPOR website. Let me see if I can address some questions here:
The tcase support leg should not contact the damper - if you have this problem then you have a leg with support brace...
Each carrier is a little different - they're all designed to customer request. Some are fancy, others are not. I had wanted to do a pre-fab carrier, but as with many other things it's hard to find a "one size fits all" solution.
Lance
Oh man, I get up at 4 am every day (entrepreneurial disease). The question is, what are you doing up at 2 AM? :hhmm:
Our hardware kit is supposed to include several washers that are used to level the wings as well as back the frame mount at this gap. The bumpers are laser cut, CNC bent and...
