Hi,
I just brought it down to the local muffler guy and he welded it for me for $40 bucks and took 30 minutes. No more smell as of now. Ahhhh, 1 down and several little things to go.
Thanks for your help!
Chris
Hi All,
I have a 1997 LC and am trying to find any hints on why we have a strong odor of exhaust in the car. Yes it does have 320,000 miles on it so that can explain some of it.
Can someone identify this leakage and help me understand what it is? Photo attached.
Thanks!
Hi All,
Can you please help me identify the large bolt circled so I can order a gasket /washer for it? Attached the picture to this thread. It's for a 1997 FZJ80 Land Cruiser.
Thanks,

Hi All,
A while back there was a guy by the name of Shane that sold seat covers for Cruisers. Anyone know if he's still around and selling seat covers?
Thanks,

My air conditioner on my 97 40th anniversary cruiser is making a grinding noise when it kicks on and I'm thinking it's probably time for a rebuild. Is it possible to rebuild these or do I need to buy a newly rebuilt one? If so where is the best place to get one?
Thanks,
Chris

Hello, I'm right in the middle of changing out the starter contact points and plunger when I realized I may have the wrong part numbers. Does anyone know what would happen if I have a 28100-66060 starter and use the following part numbers? From what I read they are the wrong parts but install...
I have an assortment of small hoses from Toytoa that look like one of them could be the right hose for this job but I want to make real sure I'm using the right one. Anyone know the actual Toyota part number for the PHH? Oh it's for my 97 LC!
Thanks,

I started the cruiser this morning and let it warm up for about ten minutes. As soon as I was getting ready to back it out of the driveway it started idling really rough as if it were missing. I started pulling spark plug wires to see which one was NOT making a difference and narrowed it down to...
