    VTV confirmation

Been going through my 10 year old desmog. Needing to get clarification on the VTV on the carb that connects to the Choke Breaker. Some pics show the green side to the front and the diagram shows the green side to the firewall. Who’s right? Both pics were “Jim c rebuilds” according to the...

    Trail Tailor Offerings

Would that 60 set fit the 45 we talked about ? It’s got the same shackle pin as my 60. Guess it’s too late now since they’re all sold.

    Fusible link questions

The something next to the air cleaner is a main shut off power key. My question is the connector on the truck doesn’t seem to look like the one I’ve purchased. Will the truck operate if that is taken out all together?

    Fusible link questions

Is my 60 missing a fusible link? I bought one to have when mine goes, and looking at it, it appears to be not there. Will the two connectors on either side of the link go together with the connector removed? And will it run with the connector not there? Can the link effect the carb and...

Man-A-Fre Header / Heat on Power Steering Pump

I’d be more worried about those zip ties melting than the PS getting too hot. It’s sure gonna get hot after they melt away. Why not put a heat shield sleeve over the entire PS hose and wrap all the headers, not just a small section. I’ve run mine that way for 10 years and no problems.

    2f with header install advice

I have bar same one. Been almost 10 years since I did it but I remember the header and intake mounting flange thicknesses were a spec off and created exhaust leaks. I hade to add some washers cut in half to make things tighten down correctly.
